While I washed the watercraft

posted in environment |

Another check mark on my prepare for winter list: the personal watercraft has been washed and hung up to dry. It’s a kayak thing; won’t work with a lobster boat, for example. Yes, I know. I already did this, but the weather turned summery and she who paddles got back out on the ocean. For the record, the odour of salty streams was there, as I hunkered down in the garage to rub and scrub. Also, having a heated garage with a cement floor allows one to do the“job”, indoors.

More pics received of son #2 and his personal ungulate. Motionless, on the back of an ATV. Nothing I have ever done.

Out in Wild Rose Country, the premier is asking his colleagues to resolve any issues with the leader of the party, before a meeting of the membership next week. That might be the most polite “begging to keep his job” request ever. Not my circus, not my clown. I will watch how this plays out, because we all need a reason to pop some corn and relax in the glow of a political dumpster fire.

As the season opens for “vax a kid”, the usual brouhaha from those who believe that science is out to destroy them, personally. There should  be a law against allowing parents devoid of a clue to make life choices for children.

And in today’s strange news from the wild kingdom, an important discovery was made, by bison. Turns out that the beast managed to disturb the topsoil, revealing rocks that prove mankind was there, a really long time ago.
