What will it cost?
As we move through the latest “red letter”question season, there are some odd glitches in the matrix. While the tiny fish in the system get knocked out of their jobs, or at a least face suspension until they can prove that they’ve been jabbed, some real differences appear, as we climb the salary ladder.
Today, one of the top QB in the NFL had to reveal his “real status”. He’s not vaccinated, despite claiming to have received a homeopathic protection. Would you dress for a game, wearing homeopathic pads? Didn’t think so. Now, I don’t want to spend too much time on the math, assuming he gets benched, so I asked a friend (Google). When you receive $146K for every minute on the field, is it too much to follow the health mandate? And if you cost your club a spot in the playoffs, is it worth it? Because, against all odds, the player in question now has Covid-19.
You see, locally, one of our familiar faces in media (call him an actor, if you wish), had an interview with the news people. He isn’t vaxxed, because he wants more proof (that is a polite way of saying that there isn’t enough history behind the science). He feels offput because he isn’t getting any work, and he can’t go out to restaurants and clubs with his gang. My take: let’s wait for a decade or so, since you feel that’s the required time to prove the science (as you see it). Let me know how that plays out.
I guess that some of the big vax moments in our history had to put everything on hold for a decade. No? I don’t get it.
