Charging by all available means
With the departure of our youth sector, it was time for the boomers to get things in order. First up, that nagging DEF message, which didn’t go away with wishful thinking. The only regional dealership for MB (the company with that ninja death star as the corporate logo) was located at the far limits of the local airfield, but our secret power (the GPS) led us right to the front door.
Although this might be the least interested concession that I have ever visited (not one sales pitch was heard, all afternoon), their service team as A-1. After learning of our plight, the vehicle disappeared and we found comfortable chairs in the big window. Unsure if we soured any possible leasing agreements.
We were there until close to the end of business hours; meanwhile they reset all the computer codes, replaced something in the wheels and gave us the part numbers for our next stop on the See Us Fix It tour. And with our big afternoon behind us, we headed up the highway for an excellent supper at the Hilltop. In retrospect, we’ve always eaten well, there.
Now, in the campground, I have the Titan on fast charge. We had added 15% using the car charger, but now I have the full power of a/c on tap. Everything should be back to 100% before midnight. And that will allow us to try other camping experiments.
The RV attracts curious people. Today, in answer to the “is it yours?”, I learned that the dog isn’t always the main attraction. We answered a few things before getting out of Dodge with a need to sleep.
