Bush bound
This afternoon, while the others went to the beach (I think), I stayed back. Officially, with the dog (because he is officially canus non grata on those sacred sands). Unofficially because my personal world was a little blurry, and I wanted the reassurance offered by walls and floors. Here’s the thing: right now there is too much fresh air and greenery. Can one O.D. on O2?
We (the dog and I) did wander around some of the trails/roads. I even put a GPS in my pocket. It would be really embarrassing to spend quality time shouting “Marco Polo” while in a strange land. As per custom, we wandered until the dog ran out of marker fluid and I spotted a familiar vehicle. Didn’t actually consult a map; I’ll do that later.
I took a big risk, and it still showed “ten starts remaining” on the limp countdown, which makes me wonder if the older messages are just an archival store for fear mongering. We’ll see if Monday changes anything, and I did add more DEF. That can’t hurt. I yearn for less complicated transportation. The transit bus didn’t have this level of stress, even with a load of unruly passengers sharing my space.
I’m back to creating my post on the tablet. Yes, the laptop is available, but this adds variety. Less distraction, at least. I don’t go off course, checking news updates and personal archives. I do miss my usual chaur, butvwe’ll be back to regular life in a few days. Until then, please bear with my grammatical lapses and missing spell check. Just imagine me surrounded by millions of trees. No, I didn’t count them.
