Playtime with some kids
Te web is full of advice at a bargain price. Free, if you don’t count your own time. Today, I learned that while on a cruise ship, I should opt for a room without a window. Costs less, and the view from a porthole is actually not that good. I don’t have an ocean trip in my itinerary, but the advice came without any strings attached.
Closer to home, we need to find things to do. Especially since my local beach is closed for the next week… But, if I want, I can sign up for a session of baby goat yoga. Bend down and let those tiny hooves leave traces along your spine. Or, put to sea, with a goat; the option of baby goat paddle-boarding is available. I admit, I hadn’t considered this, before. I’ll let my kids know.
I’m back to VIN mining. That’s where I slip the unique ID of a vehicle into a web site, and then learn about all of the factory installed options. Beats trying to find (and decode) the bill of sale.
I didn’t go anywhere, today. Means that I’ve adopted the quarantine as my own. In fact, at a quick calculation, I haven’t gone outside of my “comfort zone” (within 100 km of home) in over sixteen months. Feels so right. As a confirmed introvert, this whole pandemic comes with some features.
I’m joking. Right?
I’ll go back to regular programming when the threat level drops to zero. Or an approximation. I’m at that point in my life where each day counts (on a countdown).
