Listen for that telltale gurgling
Outside, the sun is shining. The winds are calm. I’m bored. What a perfect day to check the DEF level!
The RV requires that we add magic fluid at intervals. However, I haven’t found any way of know the remaining level (until everything goes TILT and you have to get towed back to base). Better to be proactive. Wit ha full jug of fluid, and a keen ear, I could listen to my progress as I refilled the reservoir. No overfill. No spill. The only remaining worry is if my fluid was “stale”. Again, no way of knowing, so I’ll go with crossed fingers and intuition.
Elsewhere, the buckles are loosening. One of my siblings announced that they can go down to their local marina and sit in the boats; I don’t know if that includes sailing. I’m sure there’ll be an update on social media, soon. In the city where my children live, the odds of summer look to be up. Temperatures above 27C!
Schools are under mixed up rules. Next door, the province has decided to keep classes empty until next September. At the same time, the crazy cowpokes in Alberta are going full speed ahead. Learning is more important than anything else, until it isn’t.
Not the news we need, but the odds of a hurricane are up for ’21. I no longer say silly things, like “well it can’t happen here” because it can. I’ll watch the probs, and the US has excellent storm maps available for the interested. Since I plan to be right here, I can prepare for the worst.
