(What do you do with) a seventh ring?

posted in pets, sports |

Some days, just laying in bed, with a couple of dogs, sounds like a plan… that could have been. Except, we had already made an appointment with our local electrician, and he was on the door step before coffee time. Now, I’m glad we have access to tradespeople that can come the day after being called. And that show up. And that can take a half-baked verbal plan and turn it into what we want. Worth it, and more. Our basement has moved that much closer to being complete.

It was a busy morning. I also received a phone call from members of my community group, and had minutes to edit, print and present a five year contract for a portion of our rental space. Done! Stamp it and file it for posterity! Once again, if people weren’t so flexible, things might not get to the next level.

Hard to believe/understand how folks are hyped about a Superbowl date. Did they play games this year? Is anyone still in the running, now that the Pats have evolved past perfection? Should I get my storm chips ready? Actually, yes. There’s more storm activity on the forecast page. Not sure if it aligns with football Sunday, but I won’t risk things.  And there we are: I checked the game probs, and it turns out that the perfection of the Pats simply changed his address. He’s playing, for a seventh fancy ring. Lot of bling to have around! What are the chances that he won’t win this one? I have no money riding on the contest, but I can’t speak for my kids. Young and foolish, etc.

Give me a few more minutes, and the family tree will move beyond 102K
