Look! The complete alphabet, once again
Among the things I (shoulrefuse streddd have) realized, years ago, is that the best place for doing repairs to my computer is not on a workbench. Particularly in an office, where the phone distracts and the supervisor does whatever he or she was actually supposed to do. No, the absolute best place to fix my computer is on the dining room table, after supper. I mean, a noisy stomach also distracts.
The replacement keyboard for my laptop is installed. Proof: I’m typing on it, right now, AND all of the letters are functional. Welcome back, T. The new piece fit, as it should, and the backlit feature is as I remembered. Could be brighter, but that’s a detail at this point. I can now return my oversize, external slab with the “more than one” colour scheme to a place far from me.
We received a little bit of snow, today. Enough to whiten the deck and help the dog to recall what is coming. Yes, hound: winter. Best that you get used to speedy trips in/out, and that the foxes not cause you alarm.
Yesterday, the recycle people refused my drywalling buckets. Today, I nested the three and added them to outgoing garbage. Yes, I did check with the kids, to see if there was a need; son #3 thought about it, and then rethought. Hence the need to dispose via my local refuse stream. I figure that everything, eventually, ends up in their care. Why not used scheduled stops?
Oh, and our health officer is considering stronger rules, because “we haven’t beaten the bug, yet”. Hint: close the bridge, until further notice. We are an Island, after all.
