Our air is back in service
It’s official; the Rogue has “air”. We didn’t care, much, in the middle of winter. Now, come to a warmer part of the year, it suddenly became crucial. Yes, you can “roll down the windows” (a throwback to earlier times and technologies), but the noise level doesn’t fit in well with a life where the radio, the phone, conversation all want our attention. Anyhow. We have air conditioning, and the dog will be grateful.
My order of garden hoses arrived in a big box, this afternoon. Fully one month since I placed my order. Amazon is trying to keep up. I had forgotten one little thing about garden hoses in a maritime climate. What has been joined shall not be separated, without the use of that can of penetrating oil and a pair of big pliers. It took me time, trying to do it with a minimum of effort. Finally, I figured out where I had stored the really big vise-grips. My garden hose is now “new and improved”.
I also trundled the vacuum cleaner over to the RV, and learned that despite the tiny floor area, it does gather dust and gravel, just like the main house. Glad to have the job done, on a nice, sunny day.
I’ve started reading the Trump book, written by his niece. Interesting view of a family that defines dysfunctional. Give the Donald credit; he tried hard to bury the novel (this can’t all be true, can it?) The courts decided otherwise, and now we’ll see excerpts in every related story. I’ll withhold my own judgement, for now.
