Remote management
This quarantine thing comes with certain side effects. Me, I shop, over and over again, for things I don’t need and (probably) won’t buy. Unless the confinement continues for too long. Then, all bets are off. Elsewhere in the house, all of the hares that hang about have been named. I don’t know how to tell one from the other, but if ever I get a clear sign, I’ll be able to address the situation. By name, I mean.
It’s still too cold to spend much time outside. That might be due to my choice of apparel; shorts and a tee are ample in warmer times. I do have one, no, two big jobs on my to-do list. Changing out the light fixtures around the garage. I could stand on the ladder, but once I start to shiver from the windchill, it could be dangerous. Plus, since I don’t go outside at night, the lights are really an afterthought.
I’ve grown attuned to the sound of the ship, which is a credit to how quiet life is around here. The ship is no louder than before, but I can sense the proximity. The ship is indifferent.
Newfoundland now has a new meme: it involves Double Bubble, and that’s all you need to know, for now.
I actually did some constructive work on behalf of my community group, this afternoon. It involved signing a document. Since this activity is done remotely, I received the file by email, printed a physical copy, signed on the correct line, photographed my art and returned the image to sender. All in an afternoon!
