Remaining on task
Where do the hours go? Here we are, almost nightfall. I did get up, early. Had a wonderful sunrise plan, which was thwarted by cloud cover. Maybe another day. And, yes, I did go back to bed; that’s just common sense. Anyhow, by the time I put things back on the rails, we were already up to noon.
Now, I’m not sure about the afternoon. Oh, right. I decided to fix that stove light, for real. By pulling the range clear of its cubby, I could better align the light bulb, and it worked! As well, the lost screw for the cover plate was right where I had suspected. Once the range came out, finding the lost hardware and capturing a season of dust bunnies was easy-peasey. That’s all restored, now. And with the vacuum already out to play, I did the natural thing and played housekeeper. Totally domesticated, I am.
Had a bit of chatter with the young ones, before settling down for supper. If you mix two different sorts of canned chili, add a ration of fried hamburger and close your eyes, the meal is OK. I’ll remember that for tomorrow, when I finish off the second half.
I didn’t notice any mail, today. That could be due to an oversight on our part – you have to drive over and check the locker to be certain. Tomorrow. For tonight, I’ll concentrate on learning new things from social media (just like every other day). Can’t let a small detail like “global pandemic” deviate me from my normal path through life.
