Keeping the calendar straight

posted in computing, economy |

Any time that resources are limited, the abuses seem to rise. Just check the gas pump prices (currently at 1.14/litre for regular around here). At work, our meeting space is limited, so there is a protocol for using the conference areas.

This morning, I did the same setup twice, because all of the players in the mini-games would rather walk on hot coals in their bare feet, rather than check to see if the room would be needed by anyone else. Moreover, the sheer willingness to never set up for themselves, but to undo anyone else’s workspace to take over the place is “special”. Note how polite I can be when needed.

Oh well, productivity is measured in many different ways. I guess doing the same job more than once is productive by some standards.
