Blurred to the point of discomfort
This has not been a great day for vision. I’m waiting for “the call”, and my ability to see things clearly is declining. Not how I want to play out my next while. Right now, the benefits of a new (clear) view outweigh the risks.
Meanwhile, I can still hear, and read (in short bursts). No need to go anywhere beyond the front yard. I actually went out and gathered up the last of the seasonal decorations. For anyone depending on an odd changing coloured blob to identify this house – too late. You’ll have to go back to using the civic number. I had to employ a small chopping tool in order to free the various cords from the grasp of winter, but I didn’t cut anything, and next year we can revive the abstract.”
I’m trying my first test of something other than soda water. I decanted a litre of apple juice into the (wrong) bottle, and shocked it. Now, I’m waiting for things to cool down. Age, too. I wonder if slightly more acidic juice is the answer to whatever.
A systemic failure of financial controls in BC, where money laundering in the casinos is now described as “horrendous”. One figure floating about is in excess of a billion dollars, which leave me to wonder if certain authorities ever watch the movies. I mean, even with my limited experience (casinos, money, you name it), I caught how convenient a system with unlimited amounts of cash floating about can be when it comes time to hiding history. Unlike those of us who carry our $20 bill zippered into the wallet, some others have started to use gym bags. And nobody in charge is any the wiser.
