The correct combination of unmarked switches

posted in travel |

What if there were easy answers to my questions? This afternoon, we decided to visit a nearby RV store with lots of inventory. For the right price I could have purchased an inflatable kayak (I didn’t). But we did mosey on around to their service department, which had lots of potential and too few employees for the available workload.

We want to solve an ongoing issue with our various batteries. Why do the meters show proper current and voltage levels, but we have no dark time capacity. Charge all day, but nothing available in the evening.

The service department agreed to accept us as “transient clients”, in another eight days. Plays havoc with the itinerary. We now have an appointment, but we decided to phone the original dealer, a mere three hours down the turnpike.

And, they blew us off, in lay terms. No interest in seeing anyone other than their current customers, particularly as the crush to winterize begins. We will continue to research the question and drive around the area, as tourists, while we try to find the appropriate combination of driving and charging.

Attended a family pizza party this evening, while some of my grand-nephews/nieces provided the floor show. Yes, I feel like an elder in my own circle.

Tried to understand why throwing balls at a man is considered as sporting, or worth tying up valuable broadcast time on the TV. The weather is stable, and I’m getting enough rest and recreation. Let the holiday continue.

Note to myself. Don’t buy coffee at the same moment as the whole nearby university.
