What makes a theme into a theme?
Just caught the new Adele song, that’s destined as a Bond theme. How does that work. There was no doubt; this is a valid Bond number, and that would mean that someone wrote the music (and lyrics, I suppose) with one goal – inclusion on the next Bond Gold Themes album. Does this mean that there is a style? Why didn’t I learn about it, back in music history class?
