Evolving directions
For a number of months, we have had a misty haze view of the arrival date for the new RV but now we know. As of today we have a tentative date to circle on the calendar on our fridge. The delivery driver phoned, to find about how he might get to the nearest real airport, not the beach. And with that, all that we know about the delivery did like most haze, and melted away.
The idea of a large auto-hauler turning into the driveway has been adjusted. Now, the RV will arrive, with little fanfare, and we will take quick lessons from a stranger, albeit in our own driveway. So be it.
Funny how such things evolve. When the house was brought in, we did not have details, nor were we here. An email from company assured us that the hole in the foundation was now capped, and winter could continue. We did not drive down for several more weeks, and the house was still here, in one piece, not two. No need for us to read assembly instructions.
And now for the important details. Neither the house nor the RV are going to be white. And if you have to tell the two apart, we understand that the RV will not have a basement. Other than that, all bets are off. Obviously, we are waiting to see the two, side by each. Also, the RV will not have a landline, so all those interesting scam calls will go unanswered, any time we are in motion.
And that is how we roll. With holes in the necessary information packets.
