Click and drip

Any tendency that I have to order can be blamed on Lego.  Yes, I am older than the company, but the idea of logic and modular comes from their products. In fact, if I cannot extend something, I will reevaluate my purchase impulse.

We are shopping for our next fresh water hose.  Do not say that hoses are created equal, because he  industry has a very different take on that. I am trying to decide if quick disconnect are important, given that the industry does not include them in the  sales carton. They also skip on rubber washers, so their take on things may be incomplete. What I want is a system that will allow me to hook up and avoid the near occasions of cross thread.

Perhaps I will need to visit a hardware store, as Amazon dies not offer advice on the subject. The old guy behind the counter knows the answer, and I trust his wisdom.  Do my home hoses  have click fit? I think so. I mean, they did when I started, but after a decade, my memory is spotty. What I really want is to remain dry when  getting the cheap water line into place. No bucket brigade here. I was trained on Lego, and things should fit together.

In view of system setup, I will forego a spray nozzle on the water hose. Not planning to do garden care when we travel. Let the campground owner watch for his own flowers. Carry his own bucket, so to speak.

No bottled water has been added to this equation.
