By land or by sea (to see)
Parenting: almost everyone has a couple, and the lore surrounding things to do/not do are available in books. One simple rule is “do not forbid”. Actually, you do, but don’t be over the top about things. Explain the what and the why. Lay out the consequences. Move along.
Someone forgot to pass this bit of sage advice on to the authorities responsible for our Park. The National Park. The one that “belongs” to all of us, in passing. Right now, going for a wander in that serenity space will be penalized. I don’t want to say punished, so let’s go with “you will be fined, because going to the park is not fine”. Figure it out (and then get back to me with a succinct explaanation.
Anyoone found within the Park (not counting the wardens) will be fined $500 and convicted of trespass. Wherein any child with a sense of right and wrong (mainly wrong) has already thougt this through. You have to catch me.
I do not intend to breach the barricades (are there any?). I will not approach by sea, under cover of darkness. A beach is a beach. Sand, meeting sea. But that threat! Ups the interest for the daretaker. I should get one of those nifty cameras that you can mount on the head of a willing dog (or cat). Send the beast in, to bring back evidence. Why is the park suddenly so expensive? Did the improvements (wind powered) go really well? Where is the CBC, when I need them most? Should I invest in a drone, and infilgrate? Five hundred dollars, and black mark on my flawless permanent record!
