No recordings are believed to exist
Please, don’t ask for evidence that I “did” musical things in my lifetime. Despite being in the shadow of microphones for half a century, nothing seems to have endured. Just memories.
My first recorded moment, of note, was in high school. Concert band, recorded to vinyl at the age of 13. I did keep the LP in my collection for many years, but it wasn’t great in terms of quality. We were a high school band, and the teacher with the tape recorder did it out of devotion to our cause.
By the time I made it to university, the “art” had progressed, but I can’t find any evidence. Just memories. Ditto for those effforts with students in the workplace. We were GOOD. You’ll have to take me at my word.
And now, with my musical output at a historical low…
It does not matter, much. There would have been no original content, and covers are what YT does best. I’m not seeking monetization (supposed to be important), and if someone really wants to sing along while I play the recorder, they can stop by. The road to here is paved with more than good intentions.
Locally, the grocery stores are full of people. Anticipation of winds and rain. And references to past storms that “came and went” are the lead stories. Those interactive wind path charts, with spaghetti traces are even cooler, when they are aimed at your home. My home. Whatever. We’re trying to decide how to keep the BBQ in one place, and the wasps are a huge distraction. If the winds get strong enough, I will find a shovel, summon up my courage and try to bat the globe into the nearby field. Out of sight and out of mind.
