Turn me around and point me to home
I admit that some of my “tests” are almost a joke. Closing my eyes and wandering around the interior of the house? Got that. Wandering around my back yard, on a moonless night? Got that. So, today, I went for a drive in the country. No, not as the driver; my rightful place is riding shotgun. But, we did go backroads. In places that I don’t really know all that well.
And when we got back to the highway, I knew whee we were. If the car had broken down, and I had all night, I could have walked home. Those are positive things, and I feel better.
Just for the record, I am at home right now.
The day has neen free of incident. So far. Not finished yet, but I have no intention of wandering off into the wild. That was, you see, one of the first things that the fieldworker asked. “Would I be likely to wander off?” Come on. I know where I am best served. My bed and my pantry, with fixed samitary facilities. Not going to give those us, to wander among the roots and branches.
There were other questions, this afternoon. If I was transported to a foreign country, would I see the mountans and forests? Nope. I would as a local to provide colour commentary. Or grey-scale, at a ,minimum. Probably the skies will e blue/gray. Probably the mountains will be farr away. You see. I’ve got this figured out. Don’t buy me a ticket on an airplane, just yet.
