That was fast
The sun will set, soon. I just finished my cup of warm black coffee, prepared and then left to cool for a bit too long. No burn danger. No, I don’t usually have a caffeine pick-me-up, this late in the evening. The pending question is whether I’ll be awake long past my normal bedtime.
We’re in the middle of the weekend, and I have nothing to note. Ordinary day. I didn’t leave the property, which was fine for the dog. He worries when I go beyond the pale. There was a kayak trip, but it didn’t involve me. I’m just here to report on any incidents. Hint, there were none.
My big moment, today, saw me resetting the weather station machine. The OS had decided that updates were in order, and I had to indulge the need. It takes a lot longer that I figured, but the website in back online. I have no idea if anyone cares. My weather, my fixation on keeping the site active. I am watching for an eventual hurricane, but right now we have very ordinary conditions. A bit of this; a bit of that. Next month should be exciting.
Even the traffic is winding down. Not as many motos making the loop around the point. I have a couple of windows open, and so I stay up to date on the noise. If I was to buy one of those fancy RADAR devices, I coupld measure the speed. Until then, I just go with “that was fast” reports. I guess that getting to the light and back gives purpose to certain drivers.
