Frequent mow
Supper is ended. A delicious Thai take=away, just in case you need to know. And afterward, I went outside to enjoy that brief interlude before the invasion of the body snatchers. Mosquitoes. I don’t like to donate my blood.h
In harmony, other buzzies; humming birds and the Big Green mower. The one that keeps our grass at an acceptable length (height?). Fun fact; I have no idea how often the mower does its circuit. If you arrived from elsewhere, and asked, I would have to reply “more than once per season”. Good thing we don’t have to pay per play.
My vax injection from yesterday has been more painful that others. I know, I am getting old. At least the pain is localized, and although I keep wondering if the nurse used a sharpie or a baseball bat, I will survive. Yes, I nelieve in sciece. I do wonder why we haven’t developed painless injections.
There wer visitors, this afternoon. People I have known for many years. I was surprised that they were surprised by our cameras (plural). I guess that my time walking around in public with an intrusive lens and a very bright flash didn’t affect folks that much. How bright? I think that a similar device was used in a blockbuster movie, to erase memory. That bright. Wain. Maybe mine worked in that way. I don’t blind people as much any more. Still have the flash, but these new digital cameras don’t need a portable sun.
The dog feels trapped. I don’t let him out when the mower is circling. Easy prey, given his slowing reflexes. Might have to get my squirt bottle out, to remind him that silence is golden. Yes, he understands the “I will squirt you” menace.
And the annual music festival is about to kick off. Our version of a “super spreader” event.
