Objective vs subjective
I had to find out. When did YouTube begin? Of course, Google knew. Back in 2005, in Califormia. What I didn’t get from the query is the part I actu.ally wanted to know. Did the idea for the service begin with a parent faced with the daunting homework assignment of sending Buddy off to do his turn on stage in “show And Tell”. I have my suspicions
From my own efforts to self-educate, via YT, I now realize that there are two fields of thought when preparing a product review (my current escape from my reality.) Subjective vs objective. Imagine that Show And Tell wanted Buddy to discuss cookies. Does Grammy make good cookies? Yes, very tasty. But tell me more. Well, here’s the recipe, printed in a large font, with photos.
You see the difference? This dichotomy exists in just about everything H research. Does that radio have what it takes? Well, the knobs are smooth vs the difference between earlier and later firmware. Different, completely. I don’t care that the knobs are silky. I do care about uncontrolled noise levels, in a given mode. Different. On YT, both opinnions are supported; it just takes longer to weed through the pretty flowers and get down to the thorny stems.
Remember, somebody will prepare the video you need, if you are patient. And therre’s always the option of making your own, should you have the requisite gear and guts. Just remember. Yummy cookies are improved with a detailed recipe. Not every answer will be scientific (although that would be nice). My own YT video career is just a thought. A whim. Future distraction, for the rest of the planet.
