Finding the lamp and other things

posted in economy |

Last evening, I considered exploring what could return a broken air fryer to a more useful status. I didn’t, though. This morning, we returned to the retailer. Without hesitation, the broken was exchanged for a brand new unit. The warranty continues. I salute the Stokes corporation, for their ability to keep the customer happy.

Of course, we bought other stuff while in the store. Something about having lots of time for meal preparation that makes a kitchen tool place into a great way to spend time (and money). In fact we continued in the neighbourhood, and at the competitor I snagged a neat pan for cooking veggies on the BBQ. A great day!

There’s something about good employees, when you are the shopper. Down the hill, at Canny Tire, the staff were on top of things. Almost two years ago, I put a small fortune in LCD bulbs throughout the house… except for the kitchen, which had odd-sized fixtures. This afternoon, I mentioned my quest, and within the minute the young lady had pointed out exactly what I needed. For reference: A15 is like a miniature A19, when discussing lamp bases. We’re home, and everything works. I also have to mention the other young lad, who was able to rhyme off the aisle and shelf location for a particular item. I had to ask. Are they trained to that degree of accuracy? Is there an app, to be studied at home? In fact, this was just the mark of a great client representative.

We also may have found the deck furniture we want. More after some in-depth study on our part.
