Clear and present signs (of getting older)
If asked, I state that I am getting older, every day. As proof, there are some clear and present signs. My hair has changed colour, in places. My memories of past politicians merge, but tend to be negative in tone. If I don’t get to bed at my regular time, the night will be very long; the following day will be even longer. I identify with the dog wanting to “go outside” all the time.
Managed to get Plex working on the biggest TV, this afternoon. I erased the client, and then installed the client. No change in version, but the process seems to have put things back in order. Watched a movie, just to be sure. I’m sure.
The weather is starting to warm up. Snow melt is “real”, and I even tried to get the BBQ back out on the deck. That was blocked, because I have to recoat the deck surface with the magic juice. I will. Otherwise, the half-assembled grill will haunt me. Yes, I decided that the lift and push through the main part of the house would be simpler if I decreased the weight of the affair. Took it apart… Carrying stuff outside and fitting it all back together is within my technical abilities.
Had my monthly meeting with the community group (for the first time in months) this evening. We were SO efficient. Covered the agenda in normal time, despite the backlog. We were so enthused with out efforts that all present agreed to continue on the board. Duly noted, in the minutes.
