The (in)fighing is almost over. All levels of government have agreed that the task of running a zoo is beyond their competence, and in less than two weeks, all the animals must find a new apartment. Wait; I thought moving day in Quebec was officially July 1st. Do you think the animals have called in the necessary truck reservations for the “big move”?
What about all the animal rights activists? Why aren’t Sir Paul and Madame Brigitte B here to prevent a slaughter of the innocents? The seals have arranged to get rooms over at the aquarium, but the last time I visited “our zoo” there were some very cute monkeys hanging around.
The resigned attitude of our mayor would sit much better if she simply resigned! The “Quebec Effect Conservatives” are invisible. The provincials will be able to fund my bus pass with all the camel kibble they won’t have to buy. So, buddy, wanna buy a used bear?
