Tablet beatbox test
Playing loose with the clock: when I look at the time and realize I must be somewhere else for a meeting within twenty-five minutes. Three decades of good habits, slowly eroding. Decided to try Netflix on the tablet, this afternoon. Went with a known program: the pilot for Glee from back in May ’09. Interesting look back, to see how character development started. The slushie was there from day one, but the annoying class change bell hadn’t yet made its way into the model.
Right now, our dollar continues to drop in value. Going to be a long, expensive winter up here in the north, as foodstuffs trade in “greenbacks”. May have to eliminate luxuries from the dinner table. That means just about everything other than potatoes…
With supper out of the way (combined beef and pork pot roasts), it’s now time to decide what to do with the long evening ahead. There’s a storm inbound, but it’s too dark to watch the progress. Tomorrow, I’ll be able to measure the intensity, from the toe of a shovel.
OK, I admit it. I asked Siri to “beatbox”. Until now, I’ve avoided any conversation with the iPad, but this one came highly rated on the web. Actually, not all that innovative.
