Lean toward a lawn

posted in environment |

Still have that “lean toward a lawn” thing going on. Another site visit by a contractor, to figure out how much we have to move (the) earth to have a more natural contour. Important to think these things through, long before a tread or a blade gets involved.

With the help of a downloaded user manual, I managed to add more light to the garage. The opener had sockets, which I hadn’t noticed, that made the “light” switch on the controller into a useful feature. Not going to get all crazy and install a smartphone gateway, just yet.

My first visit from a Purolator delivery van. Didn’t have the flashy paint job, but the onboard content was the important thing. Another camera body (with a flash). After the requisite battery charge and firmware update, I declared things ready for the recipient.

Had to resort the big and small camera bags (always a good way to cover the bed in gear while trying to make everything fit neatly. Mission accomplished. Running out of excuses as to why my life isn’t chronicled in a series of personal images…

Another alignment of furniture in the main area of the house. In a man-dominated world, the first time would have been sufficient for the next decade. In my world, I have to think of this as a reason to exercise muscle groups that would be better off forgotten. At least the TV stayed put. The receiver and associated wiring have moved to a new rack, and the printers will get a new roost.
