A list of fixes
Given the success of the inaugural boat sale, I have decided to expand our offer. Right now, to the first interested party, I have an almost new electric lawnmower that I would let go for a paltry sum of money. The lawn is still growing, but the concern will belong to others.
Actually, a local entrepreneur accepted us onto his list of select clients: the next door neighbour, perhaps the guy across the road, etc. Local is the key term: until he graduates from high school, this is a growth business.
I’ve been in contact with the fire alarm people. Cessation of service. Their only concern seems to be whether a new owner (of our premises) might be interested in subscribing.
That missing “center ring” for one of my winter wheels has been replaced. Little does it matter that I had to purchase a set of four, or that the seller lost mine in the first place. Sometimes, the road is bumpy.
We’ve worried about moving into a dark area (no streetlights), so I went shopping this morning. I now own a pair of motion detecting halogen fixtures. The inefficient lights over the garage door will now retire, and the simple arrival of a car (or a coyote, or a fox, or a skunk, or a really lost harbour seal) should trigger a 300 watt beacon. Too cool!
I managed to plug the hose on the central vacuum, earlier. Which led to my trying to clear said blockage. Which led to more dust on my shirt than I care to remember. Good thing I breathe carefully…
