Perhaps I can recycle a solution
The second of my four quizzes is behind me. Aced it. The course means little to the rest of the world, but getting things right beats getting things wrong. Right?
Another day, spent quietly. My research into R-Pi cases is actually interesting. Should I recycle an Altoids tin, or a dollar store soap dish? What about one of those containers we have for storing leftovers? Not a cheap one; something a bit more robust. After all, a Dremel can fix many shortcomings. The proper (online ordered) cases are wonderful, but the shipping fees cancel my enthusiasm.
Received our first bill for electricity, and I am not impressed. Seems that the contractor heated the floor pour with electrical space heaters (and disavows responsibility for what was a very poor choice). More to come on that one. Right now, I want to enjoy what I pay for. Let’s “get a move on”!
Heard via CBC news that Sun TV news is about to “go dark”. Oddly, the concerned party makes no mention. Maybe that’s why they’re getting out of the business.
Interesting note for reflection: in nine days, the Island will have a new premier, voted for by absolutely nobody. I’m trying to reconcile that with anything else I know about democracy… was there not one, single elected member that could have served as the placeholder? Is there no deputy designation? If so, then the first act of the new emperor should be to fix what is clearly broken.
And for the record, the new Souris school officially opened, yesterday. From what I’ve spied online, it looks good.
