Dust off the DustBuster
Winter will start, soon. There is snow, elsewhere, and in a state of proactivity, the car needs its all season tires swapped out for something better. This year, the lift and lug from the basement depends on son #3.
Nothing to do with my willingness to “put my back into the job”. The instruction sheet for my new and improved eyeball comes with a caveat; no heavy lifting. I guess that climate won’t adapt, so I will.
Watched a funny Canadian movie this afternoon. Moving Day, written by one of the creative minds behind the Trailer Park Boys and filmed in Halifax. Great fun trying to geolocate. The cast included familiar faces from the local employment lists, a plot line that had some requisite silliness and the ultimate circumstance for CanCon; nothing better on TV.
Including curling. The Homan rink didn’t make it through to the final round, so my interest level suffered accordingly. I can afford to be choosy.
My interest in the comparatives of vacuum cleaners is starting to wane. Retractable cords are so old school. Bagless seems cool, until I remember why Electrolux offered them as a necessary feature in the first place. Power brush? Only if I can switch it off… Don’t distract be with robotics. Too many models, all maddeningly similar. And for the record, a Nerf Gun hack is fun for the first afternoon. After that, not so much.
Maybe it’s time to spiff up the veteran Electrolux and try to avoid the near occasions of dirt on the floor. Or dust off the DustBuster (if we haven’t sent it off to the dustbin).
