Aesthetically blurred view

This morning, I let Nature play photographer. The flash, accompanied by simultaneous booming sounds, and a bit of freezing rain, gave way to this…

Rather pleasing, once one gets past the “fall down and hurt” part of walking in a winter wonderland.

We were saved from the full wrath, which means that the power hasn’t gone out, and the driveway is cleared enough to allow hiding the car away from the rare snow plow that may come through the area. Before the big freeze, I hope. Else, we’re going to have a few more weeks of rough footing.

My order of almost a hundred computer bags came in this afternoon. Now I can start moving out that huge set of new laptops. The bags are larger than specified, which means a bit of restructuring on my shipment plans. Hardly a big deal. When the truck arrived, I took care of the actual unloading, and then found a way to put nineteen oversized boxes out of the way. The building is too small for our team; add in some extra materials and the wish for something/anything is strengthened. I wonder if we could get one of those shipping containers and place it in the back parking lot?

Out in Alberta, drivers can be ticketed for “distracted driving”; things like watching TV while in the care of a moving vehicle. Could we get that charge around here, to try and reduce the antics of the misfits who forget all common courtesy when in their cars.
