Sleep when you should
Reminder: get a good (night’s) sleep whenever possible. Fatigue is bad business. Ask the rail engineer that trashed his train over the weekend. Or the famous senator that smacked a stop sign (on Parliament Hill). Both may have fallen asleep at an inopportune moment. I’d hate to slump (any further) in my bus seat, or miss my stop completely. Early to bed, if early to rise is a life requirement.
Incidentally, we learn (from the press) that runaway trains aren’t a rare event. Seems that even when the engineer is sleeping in a bed, elsewhere, trains are starting off for a rolling tour. Not funny.
On the to-do list at the office: return a laptop with a replaced keyboard to its owner. Orange juice doesn’t help keep a computer healthy.
I knew that Hizzonner (the TO version) couldn’t keep out of the papers. This time around, posing with some bikers. Not the bicyclists that he scorns, either. In a city of millions, he found three Hells to hang onto. And then he claimed he knew nothing about their extracurricular interests. NOt sure if the pic was snapped before or after hs stole the seat (in the bleachers, for a football game) from a paying fan who understands Twitter. @MattMays was not amused.
And with all that behind me, I should start planning on getting some of that sleep. Earlier, when I dozed off in front of the TV, on the preferred couch of a certain dog, he took his paws and tail and retired to my bed. Fair play, etc.
