After an amazing race
I usually avoid reality TV, but the promise of a short jaunt around the Rock was enough to force me into exceptional territory. The CTV Amazing Race segment 109 was worth every minute. Here’s your link: Amazing Race. And now back to real life, which is much cooler than reality.
Can we ease up on the 9/11 rhetoric, soon? Other things have happened on that date. Go ahead; consult an almanac.
I didn’t receive my government approved booklet on the new rules for insulting others. Probably tomorrow. How sad that our debt load continues to rise while the elected loonies find new ways to play “We’re the majority, you’re the minority, nah nah” game that should bave been stomped on back in primary school. Without going into details, the way you dress will soon be subject to even more rules in a public office near here.
Somebody in Winnipeg has made the news after her tea spilled. Take note that it didn’t happen in her home, or in a restaurant. This was a “driving down the road” spill. Pardon me for not joining in to her chorus. There’s a reason why beverages “for the road” are served in cups with tiny holes; splish splash is harder to do. You don’t need to drink and drive. Just sayin’.
Today’s question: Where should the old Sam The Record Man sign from Yonge Street be placed? I’m going to give this one some careful thought. As should you. The possibilities are endless, and it is something that deserves pan-Canadian attention.
