Challenged to be frozen and happy
If you’ve ever wondered why group arm wrestling hasn’t caught on as a sport, just watch the political race down south. Super Tuesday is over, and all four of the contenders (down from an incredible eleven) have vowed to carry on. No winner, no loser. Keeps the tension high while making sure that the Repubs will go on to 2016 looking for a way to win. Politics for the rest of us.
Up in Canada, the minister that wants to peek is now trying to find out who peeked into his affairs. The judge has said yes; with any luck, we’ll discover a cast of thousands. Once again, politics for the rest of us.
I think it’s time for the return of the Kids in the Hall. Not just reruns, although I take retro pleasure in watching the comedy channel when they’re on. But try to imagine the lads, older and wiser, putting the razor-lazer on current affairs. Giggles galore.
Sometime in the next few hours, we’re going to get a taste of solar flare. Should I wake up and listen to the radio, or just wait to learn that life as we know it was wiped out by the Aurora. Not likely to be anything spectacular, but you never know. Maybe I’ll check outside, when I make the mid-sleep run for the water closet.
What to do? I’ve been invited to try some winter camping. Should I pack the car and whisper warm words of encouragement, or let nature take its course? Is there even a campground within driving distance that is open, or do I have to tunnel my way into the back yard?
