Nasal drip will not interfere
The middle of the week. Another minor monetary crisis, while we wait for the banking industry to reconcile its goals with our needs. Lesson taught: keep liquidities on hand.
No, things aren’t so bad, but after heading to the city to get work done, we did wish that there was a money tree somewhere close by. For the important things, like a last minute banana split.
So what else is “going on”, as they say? After all, this is a holiday, and our itinerary might bore those more accustomed to world travel. I don’t care. The ocean is close at hand. Fresh air, etc.
Speaking of which, my sudden allergy attack has meant an investment in sleep inducer, but I’m not supposed to nod off during conversation. Two little pink pills; cheap OTC relief from everything else.
I wonder if part of the problem is the new car smell in the tent. We’ve changed our mattress, and the similarity to a new car is striking. TV already clarified that chemical oddity; we’re smelling industrial waste.
Not much I can do about it… eventually, this too will pass, and I’ll get back to life without a nasal drip. Promise.
Finished another couple of books. Lot of time with not much else to do, so I’ve filled the back seat with paperbacks. When that lot is finished, I’ll start ebooking in earnest. There’s also been some decent documentary content on CBC, now available on two frequencies near the campsite. I’m being spoiled by relaxation, and the return to a work regime may be painful.
