All cats are black at night

I’m proudly colourblind. I admit, I don’t really have any choice in this matter; congenital conditions are rather like a one-way street. I confuse my greens and browns with little discernation.

Imagine my shock and awe to learn that astronomy is like that, too. The Hubble telescope is grey-scale. All those beautiful photos with the marvelous green hues I cannot see are counterfeit. Photoshop me once, shame on you. Photoshop the world, shame on the rest of you… To think that red stars are really white, and so are blue stars.

Superman never lost his powers under a fading sun! It’s all a trick. I feel better now.
