A little rain
The rain has started. Again. Not something that bothers me a great deal but if you are one of those people who came here hoping for only sun and sand you may be disappointed. This is not the sort of water feature that they advertise in the brochures. I realize that rain is a good thing. I once asked a farmer and he told me that you need a bit of everything. Perhaps not frost but everything. Without that rain we will not have the green fields that you so admire. And those Pretty Little rivers flowing through the countryside might turn into something filled with mud. You have to take the good with the ordinary. Yes I am in the house and the roof does not leak nor do the windows. One of the details that we try to keep up to date with. Does it rain a lot here? No. Not at all. Just enough to keep a balance. So if you find that this weather seems like too much for your short vacation time I can only tell you that it is not nearly as warm six months hence. You can make the judgment call. And outside, that long that we spend so much time getting cut to the right length will not grow if the rain does not come. I was out a couple of days ago in my bare feet and the grass was crunchy. In other words Too dry
But that is enough rain talk for now. By this time tomorrow or the next day the people that want to lie in the sand on the beach will be back in their comfort zone. I on the other hand will be safe inside like most days.
