At the end of a long, dead end road
A few words to the lad that stole a pickup truck this afternoon, and then led the Mounties on a merry chase down a dead end road: plan your getaway! Or not. I actually think that the police should win, especially in cases of stupidity.
What sort of mindset would provoke someone to steal a pickup, in any case? Don’t you know that drivers of trucks all know one another, and that you stand out like a birch tree in a conifer grove? Might as well choose one that has a phone number on a side panel, so that you provide a little bit of advertising while you joyride. (No, I’ve never stolen a truck, or a car for that matter. I’m riffing, here).
Hey, our iToys are busy upgrading their OS this afternoon. Two GB of download, each. Imagine a world where you could share the file to friends. I guess that the idea of slow/limited internet never crossed the minds of developers. My iPad has rebooted, and things look the same as before. That will be proven incorrect in the days to come, I feel certain.
That one little fox is now so comfortable with us (and the dog) that I can go out and take pictures, with the mutt beside me, and all is wonderful. Some barking and tail wagging (not me, the dog). The fox just watches, nonplussed. I should prepare myself for another furry buddy around the living room, once the temperature starts to drop below comfort. What do foxes like to watch, on TV?
