The fur started to fly

posted in technology |

A bit of biofeedback on my vaccination. One day later, and I have this ongoing urge to take a nap. Of course, I have had that same urge, prior to yesterday, so there may be no correlation (or causation). I’ll keep an eye on the whole idea. Probably “shut eye”.

The dog is moulting. Took him outside, and I swear; the fur started to fly even before the brush came in contact. He’s “feathering”, and the front walkway is hairy. Can’t leave him outside until the phase passes, so the Dyson will be called into service. I wonder if the dog even notices.

On my radar: getting repairs to the local EV charging station. No, I don’t own an electric car, but as part of my spirit of volunteerism I agreed to call around and see if repairs are recommended on a unit that has reached a “certain age”, or if we start seeking funding to upgrade facilities. From what I’ve read in the newspapers, driving to a place and then running out of power is as bad as running out of gas, except that you can’t hitch to the local garage and bring back a red plastic container of electrons. My hunch is that I’m going to know more about the underbelly of the new technology than I need to. Don’t call me, just yet. My expertise is a seed, waiting to sprout.

The hills are aflame, in Southern California. Some reports claim that this is the most costly/dangerous burn, ever. Hyperbole?
