That fresh-roast smell

If you’re a coffee person, that odour from a fresh cup of coffee is wonderful; be it drip, espresso, whatever. Even a coffee-flavoured chocolate bar can seem right, from time to time. Up the level just a bit, now. How about going in to the local coffee store (I don’t mean a Timmy’s or Starbuck) where there are dozens of beans on sale, and the order is ground to your specifications on the spot. Varieties from five continents, with prices varying not with the distance that the bean has travelled, but rather with an equation that isn’t clear. Where the temptation to just sit back and sniff is so tempting.
