We are rignt in the middle of the most musical time of the year. Literally hundreds of tuns, with lyricHere, you might recongnize, like this one. It goes 3-3-3/3-3-3/3-5-1-2-3
Yes, that’s notation from my Fisher-Price piano. And it’s not exactly a seasonal song. More a call for snow on the slopes. Not my fault. There are many others. Most of them are in major keys, which allows the musically illterate to join in on the chorus.
I am searching for one that I heard last year, but I can’t remember the words. In a “foreign lanaguage, It’s not Latin. I will find it, eventually. Maybe before the end of the holidays. And I am discovering lots of novel material. For example, the covers in a minor key by Dodie. Great stuff for a non-trad party.

Do you have a preferred seasonas. Not THAT one, as I have a few tarnished memories. Perhaps something secular. Is there any other kind? Anything to avoid that movie channel, with all the ugly sweaters and people who are just passing through town.
