Another double-dog day
This is a tbawo-dog weekend. It has rules. Two water bowls, not one. Two food bowls, not one. Sequence the outside time, unless you want to run a tandem harmess (I do, sometimes). No singing in a dog voice. Treats are to be shared equally.
This is not my “first rodeo”, and I think the weekend will be uneventful. A lot of naps. As long as we don’t get any strays in the yard (cars, foxes, etc) I will have no big moments. I could do this, if I didn’t have larger goals. You know, like being able to go to the city for shopping, any time I want. Right now, we wait for sub-zero temperatures. Or darkness.
I did go outside by myself, briefly. Added some DEF. Came back in. The hounds did not notice, or perhaps they did not care.
The Interac system is on holiday for a second afternoon. Apparently. I mean, I’m not out there doing retail. The backlash will be interesting/noisy. We all expect our telecomm companies to the state of the art/stable/inexpensive. They are none of these. And if you rattle the cage of the common man, he will shout for cheaper/faster/better. I expect a call for nationaiza tion, although the only thing the government runs better is… I really don’t know. My own dream is for something completely new. Super modeern. Tell me more about Starlink, now that it’s owner has decided that Twitter is not worth an unbelieveable amount of money.
Have to start planning my supper. For my lunch, I had “hams-and-egg” (not a typo).
