Sharing tourism memories
Tell me where you are from. If I happen to share any common memories with you I will happily relate them. Building a common experience. Turns out that it is a job for many people who post videos on YouTube about cities that you might visit if you are being a tourist. Yes, I do seek out the videos dealing with my area. After all since I do not get out very much this is one way to find out what is new in town. How else would I know that someone had opened a huge video arcade with lots of retro machines. No,it is not in my bucket list of things to visit but if you ask me about a place to go I will point you in that direction. Again it seems like a friendly thing to do. Trying to get accurate information about almost anything is much easier than it used to be. No need to spend time with an encyclopedia. We all have them in our pockets. If you end up in a new part of town take the time to do your research. Save yourself those moments that we all remember. To be fair videos about tourism places have a tendency to be gentle. It is pretty hard to say something bad about an ice cream parlor. I do think that we have a better system than before. The same rule holds for many other things. If you were thinking about taking on another hobby you can do much of your basic research from the comfort of your living room. No need to get out in trade elbows with the public. Do I look forward to being a tourist once again? I will do some research and get back to you. Right now I am more concerned about keeping my first grandchild happy.
