Setting records
The rain lasted all night. No accumulation that will set a record but more than I’m used to. However we were away from the campground in time to head off to the restaurant to join other members of the family. This was the section of town where I lived 4 decades ago familiar but unfamiliar. After we had completed the meal we headed off to see the baby. At least one of the babies. Hard to get everybody together at the same time. And so I spent the afternoon re learning how to keep a small child content. Posture is important for both the adult and the young person. No turning people upside down unexpectedly. After supper when the hockey started we bid our farewell for the evening and return to the campground. Getting hooked up again in the dark is getting easier. We had no Great Expectations to be tourists and so we did not. Getting to bed at a reasonable hour is a reasonable thing to do. We will see where tomorrow goes. I still have not checked the news today so I have to assume that nothing important took place. My way of looking at the world. Also I had the time to play with a couple of dogs. A food bowl seems to keep one of them occupied for hours at a time. I would love to place a pedometer inside the ball just to see what distance is traveled in a single afternoon. For the eventual record books.
