Relative indifference

This is a slow Newsday here in Canada. So much so that lead story points out the relative indifference the Canadians have over the visit of a special guest. The first time the King has come to visit us. Before him we had a Queen who came for decades but this is Chuck’s turn. Did they notice that anyone else was indifferent? One of those moments that will be marked in a history book but I doubt,  it will be showing up anywhere else. They (the Royals) will also plant a tree as if Canada did not have enough. We really need better news stories. I also learned that during my shower yesterday I managed to substitute conditioner for shampoo. You see how news stories are relative. At least the sun is shining. There has not been much of that for the last couple of weeks. I may be developing a rain tan. We’re back at my son’s apartment and I do note that the dogs are also indifferent. Not even a bark to say hello. Just that the passage have a ball filled with kibble making its way from room to room to room piloted by the younger of the two dogs. I give her credit, she does this every day despite the opportunity to go to a real food bowl and have a real meal. Kibble is its own reward. I also want to note that the weather is getting warmer. There was very little need for the electric heat last evening in the camper.
